TRRAI announces RE-GO 2026 tire recycling conclave in Goa, India
The Tyre & Rubber Recyclers Association of India (TRRAI) has announced RE-GO – TRRAI’s 3rd Annual Conclave 2026, a two-day tire recycling industry event scheduled for September 10–11, 2026, at Novotel Goa Dona Sylvia in South Goa. Organized under the theme “Recycling On-the-Go in Goa,” the conclave is expected to bring together 250–300 delegates from across India’s tire recycling value chain, including tire recyclers, end-of-life tire processors, tire pyrolysis companies, machinery manufacturers, automation providers, consultants, investors, policymakers, environmental specialists and regulatory authorities. TRRAI said the event is designed as a major platform for discussion on Extended Producer Responsibility, regulatory alignment, sustainable growth, technology development, recycled material markets and circular economy opportunities in India’s expanding tire recycling sector.
Event to focus on India’s tire recycling transformation
TRRAI said India’s tire recycling sector has undergone significant change in recent years, driven by Extended Producer Responsibility, evolving environmental regulations, new technologies and growing demand for sustainable recycled materials. The association said RE-GO 2026 has been developed as a platform to discuss these developments, encourage collaboration and support the future direction of circular resource management in India.
Conclave expected to gather major industry stakeholders
The event is expected to welcome participants from nearly every segment of the tire recycling ecosystem. These include tire recyclers, ELT processors, tire pyrolysis operators, shredding and crumbing technology providers, scrap tire importers and suppliers, recovered material companies, plant engineering consultants, environmental and automation solution providers, government departments, pollution control authorities, investors, financial institutions, research organizations, startups and sustainability professionals.
TRRAI said the conclave aims to provide opportunities for networking, knowledge exchange and business development, while creating a forum where industry, government, technology providers and investors can discuss practical ways to strengthen responsible tire recycling in India.
Opening day to cover policy and regulation
The first day of the conclave will focus on policy, regulatory frameworks and the industry outlook. Planned topics include EPR regulations, compliance systems, central government policies, environmental governance and next-generation tire pyrolysis oil quality standards. According to the event invitation, the opening day will also conclude with “Sufi & Spirits – The Harmony Dinner,” a corporate networking dinner for delegates, speakers, government officials and industry leaders.
Second day to highlight technology and innovation
The second day will focus on technology, innovation and circular economy development. Topics include advanced tire shredding systems, crumb rubber and micronized rubber technologies, automation and digitalization, emerging markets for recycled rubber products, sustainable processing technologies, investment opportunities and international best practices.
The program will also include an interactive open forum, enabling delegates to engage directly with experts, policymakers and technology providers. Evening activities are planned to include “Coastal Chords,” a beachside networking sundowner, followed by “Midnight Melodies & Motivate,” a DJ night and industry networking event.
Exhibitor Expo to run across both days
A dedicated Exhibitor Expo will run throughout the conclave. TRRAI said the exhibition will showcase recycling machinery, automation systems and technology innovations from leading equipment manufacturers, engineering firms, environmental solution companies, automation specialists and service providers.
The expo is expected to give exhibitors direct access to key decision-makers and business leaders in India’s tire recycling industry. It will also provide a platform for companies developing solutions for tire shredding, crumb rubber production, pyrolysis, recovered carbon black, environmental compliance, plant engineering and digitalized recycling operations.
India’s circular economy role emphasized
TRRAI said India has emerged as one of the world’s most significant tire recycling markets. As regulatory frameworks mature and investment in sustainable technologies increases, cooperation between industry, government, academia and technology providers is becoming more important.
The association said RE-GO 2026 aims to strengthen India’s position in responsible tire recycling by promoting innovation, dialogue and partnerships. The event also seeks to connect Indian recyclers with international stakeholders, supporting technology transfer, investment opportunities and wider adoption of global best practices.
