Martin is world expert on recovered carbon black and has global clients in the tire pyrolysis sector, the tire industry, tire trade organisations, the rubber and the plastics industries. In 2019, together with Smithers, Martin launched the first global conference on recovered carbon black. Martin has served management roles at Huntsman (titanium dioxide, USA), Americhem (plastic masterbatch, USA) and Cabot Corp. (carbon black, USA). He holds a Dipl. Eng. Chemical and Process Engineering of Friedrich Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg (Germany).
