GREENWIN LLC has officially launched the EcoBridge project, a 12-month initiative funded by the Central European Initiative Network Programme to connect Ukrainian and Moldovan small and medium-sized enterprises with EU expertise in sustainability, digitalization, circular economy and international business development. The project began with a virtual kick-off meeting on April 17, 2026, bringing together consortium partners from Ukraine, Moldova, Bulgaria and Italy. GREENWIN acts as project coordinator and contributes expertise in circular economy, tire recycling pyrolysis technology and Extended Producer Responsibility policy development in Ukraine. Through training sessions, study visits, strategic documents and a final conference in Italy, EcoBridge aims to help non-EU SMEs improve competitiveness, strengthen resilience and prepare for green and digital transition in line with European integration objectives.

Project launched with four consortium partners

The EcoBridge kick-off meeting brought together all four project partners. GREENWIN LLC represents Ukraine as project coordinator. Nextech Association from Bulgaria contributes expertise in digital innovation, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and blockchain solutions for SMEs. Confartigianato Imprese Salerno from Italy brings experience in SME support, green and digital transition and sustainable business management. Business InnoHub from Moldova contributes business development and circular economy expertise and is described as the founder of Moldova’s first European Digital Innovation Hub.

EcoBridge focuses on green and digital transition

The project is designed to enhance business skills, competitiveness, innovation, sustainability, digitalization and internationalization among non-EU SMEs in the Central European Initiative region. Activities will include targeted training, workshops, study visits and strategic document development.

According to GREENWIN, the initiative is intended to help Ukrainian and Moldovan businesses move toward long-term profitability and European integration by adopting digital and green transition practices.

Training and study visits planned through 2027

EcoBridge activities are scheduled from March 2026 to February 2027. The program includes six online training sessions, two study visits in Bulgaria and Italy, three strategic documents and a final conference in Salerno, Italy.

The project targets up to 20 SMEs, business clusters and municipalities from non-EU countries for online events. Up to 50 participants are expected at the final conference.

GREENWIN contributes circular economy and tire recycling expertise

GREENWIN focuses on solving environmental problems, reducing pollution and using secondary raw materials as resources. The company’s first recycling area is used tires, which it says are used as raw materials for new products with high added value.

Within EcoBridge, GREENWIN brings practical knowledge of circular economy principles, tire recycling, pyrolysis technology and Extended Producer Responsibility. The company also says its approach is based on modern European principles of circular economy and producer responsibility, with an emphasis on returning secondary raw materials to economic circulation.

LinkedIn updates show continued SME webinar activity

GREENWIN’s LinkedIn updates show that EcoBridge activities continued after the official launch. In June 2026, the project promoted an online training session on digital safety and cyber hygiene for SMEs, including the relevance of the EU NIS2 Directive for companies working with EU clients or preparing for European market expansion.

In July 2026, the project continued with training on future digital trends for recycling and manufacturing SMEs, including artificial intelligence, automation, IoT, digital dashboards, traceability, resource optimization and digital pathways to circular production.

Resilience seminar to share Ukrainian business experience

GREENWIN also announced an EcoBridge online seminar titled “Resilience Strategies in the Ukrainian Context,” scheduled for September 10, 2026. The seminar is intended to share examples of how Ukrainian businesses have responded to blackouts, disrupted supply chains, workforce shortages and other wartime challenges.

GREENWIN said it would also share its own experience of operating an industrial circular economy plant in Kyiv Oblast during the war. The session reflects the project’s wider goal of transferring practical knowledge to SMEs facing operational and market uncertainty.

Project supports European integration and regional cooperation

The Central European Initiative is described as a regional intergovernmental forum focused on European integration and sustainable development through regional cooperation. EcoBridge uses this framework to connect SMEs and business support organizations from Ukraine and Moldova with EU partners and expertise.

For the recycling sector, the project may help strengthen circular economy skills, digital transformation and international cooperation among SMEs. GREENWIN’s role connects Ukraine’s tire recycling and pyrolysis experience with broader European discussions on resource efficiency, traceability, green business models and sustainable industrial development.
